Aggies from all over the world have responded and the majority are Former Students. I seem to have hit a nerve with my position on Tradition. The consensus would seem to be a firm warning for present administration, "It AIN'T BROKE, so don't try to fix it!" Since liberalization efforts are rampant everywhere, it doesn't come as a shock that it has crept into Aggieland. It's rather like, "Nothing is Sacred Any More!" And because good folks are hesitant to 'get involved', it would appear that things are changing in spite of everything. It's time for the Silent to Sound Off! I have made up my mind to totally ignore the coming football season if teams allow players to 'demonstrate personal opinions' during games. Do it outside the stadium all they want as long as it's peaceful and respectful of others. Our Constitution guarantees that freedom, but it doesn't allow destruction of property, both public and private. As far as I am concerned, folks kneel in worship to a Holy God and stand in respect for Freedom and Honor of the Symbol of Ultimate Sacrifice by those who Served. Anything other than this is totally abominable! Stand and Be Counted for Righteousness, AMERICA!
And that's what I get from My Box of Chocolates right here in my little corner studio under the shadow of Kyle Field.
