Fatal Flaw

Mankind has failed to grasp the truth of what ails us and American has had the answer from our start, but our hearts just haven’t been in it.  With all our know how we’ve somehow ignored our “Fatal Flaw”.  We say the right thing when we pledge to our flag. We put the answer on our legal tender and swear by it, but fail to internalize it. It comes easily to our lips, but not in reverence, yet we have been a blessed nation and the envy of all others.  We’ve become used to having things pretty much our way, up until now. Now our “Fatal Flaw” has made us vulnerable and we are simply too blind to see it, yet it is not too late.  It is time that we change our course and recognize our “Fatal Flaw” to be the danger it is.   It is time to do away with selfishness and wickedness.  It’s time to “DO” and not just “SAY”.  It is time we do as scripture says in 2 Chronicles 7:14. We ‘claim’ to be something we are not and are about to regret it. The God whom we say we trust has been patiently waiting for us to get right and correct that “Fatal Flaw”.

"If MY PEOPLE who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and FORGIVE THEIR SINS and HEAL THEIR LAND."

To correct our fatal flaw, we must come to the realization that we are lost without Jesus.  God's people are believers in Jesus Christ, ONLY.  God hears the prayers and accepts repentance from believers ONLY.  We have been given HOPE, but it isn't found in government.  Today, there is room at the cross for all people from every nation, but it must begin with you and I.  Believing in Jesus Christ isn't as painful as it has been depicted.  Believers do not feel the pain of LOST since we've been found and are in the FOLD forever.  And that's what I get from My Box of Chocolates right here in my corner studio under the shadow of Kyle Field.
