"Of All the Textbooks....."

Most of us who attend school for over twelve years will have a stack of textbooks as tall or taller than we are.  When you include, required reading, that could double.   Apostle Paul's mission field comprised the entire world outside Israel. Scripture refers that to be the world of Gentiles.  Scripture is really all the textbook the entire world needs.  Paul, in his letter to the Colossian Church, wrote:  "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with Gratitude in your hearts."  I always thought that the whole world should sing, donchaknow, and if the only 'textbook' one internalized their entire life was the Holy Bible, then they had the finest education available anywhere. AND, they would be so filled with everything necessary for a full life, they couldn't help but sing praise!   Not to say that matriculation through the process of a degree from Aggieland isn't important, but it would be icing on our cake!   It only makes sense that He Who Created Us would have provided the 'owner's manual' that would completely set forth the construction of who we are, perfectly.  It is the complete textbook on how to live and love!  We just celebrated "THANKSGIVING" as a nation.  For the first time in a long time, my family had a virtual visit and I'm still celebrating!  I would hope all of us had the same.  I was lifted up by just participating in a 'loveliest' that included in-laws and 'special friends'.  I thought, "Jim Austin you are one blessed fellow".  We've all come through COVID-19, some even diagnosed with it, but still kicking, and, from coast to coast, we're all together once again.  God is so Good!
